Sarah Kunin is a three-time Emmy and Edward R. Murrow Award-winning executive producer and director with 15 years of experience in news and entertainment media. She has worked closely with top celebrities, athletes, chefs and newsmakers to deliver compelling content to millions of viewers around the world. She is also the creator and executive producer of the Magnolia Network series Making Modern with Brooke and Brice, now streaming on HBO Max.

Sarah began her career as an intern at ABC News and steadily rose through the ranks to become a supervising producer at Good Morning America. She produced hundreds of interviews for every ABC News platform, including World News, Nightline, 2020 and ABC News Live on Hulu. She was on the ground in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey, live in Times Square on election night 2016, on the procession route during the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, on the red carpet and backstage for five Academy Award shows and on the field at three Super Bowls. She produced dozens of special events during the highest rated period in GMA’s history, from the viral “Roar with Katy Perry” competition to the first-ever wildlife safari to be broadcast live from Tanzania’s Ngorongoro Crater.

Sarah was Michael Strahan’s anchor producer at ABC News for five years, where she directed and produced interviews with guests including Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Michelle Obama, Tom Brady, Kerry Washington, Mariah Carey, Matt Damon, George Clooney, Britney Spears, Julia Roberts and Drew Brees. Prior to working with Strahan, Sarah was the head food and lifestyle producer for Good Morning America, working with nearly every major celebrity chef in the industry. During that time she produced all of GMA Food Contributor Emeril Lagasse’s segments, including his annual “Breakfast in Bed” Mother’s Day sweeps event.

After a decade at ABC News, Sarah moved to Nashville, Tennessee and set her sights on television development. She partnered with Riverside Entertainment to develop “Making Modern with Brooke and Brice,” which was acquired by Chip and Joanna Gaines’ Magnolia Network. She served as the show-runner and executive producer for season one of the series. Now in season three, she continues to consult as an executive producer.

A native New Yorker, Sarah studied oboe performance at Manhattan’s famed Laguardia High School. She received a BA in media studies from Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, New York. She currently lives in Austin, Texas with her husband Luke, an active duty Air Force major, their daughter Hannah and their shepherd mix, Bruce.
